I installed a OEM Triumph Tach on my 2005 TBA and it was very easy - plug and play. Most of the time the tach works fine and reads correct. Other times, often over bumps (but not always) the tach arrow will bounce all over the scale and not work. Any ideas?

Basically has to be loose wires or a busted unit doesn't it?

Have you checked all the connections? Open the console and jiggle all the wires with the engine running?

Thanks for the suggestions. I will give it a try with all the wires. I also found a similar post from another rider who was having the same sporadic problem. Hope it is just wires not poor manufacture quality.
