I believe it was posted on here back when it happened, about the doctor traveling from Chicago to Eastern Pennsylvania for a job interview.... Seems he was speeding through Ohio and eluded the Ohio State police, entered PA, and lost control of his car, killing a motorcyclist in the process. We are now spared the cost of a trial.... He should have taken his attorney with him!
"My client admitted to striking an automobile. He never admitted to striking a motor vehicle. That was my argument. At this particular point in time, there was no evidence that my client was responsible for striking a motorcycle," Patarini said.

Police say he began fleeing Ohio authorities at high speeds because he didn't have a valid driver's license in that state
What a retard, if you have one states license, it's usually good in the other states too! Sounds like he had some other reason to be running.
Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Maybe he thought that without a valid PA license, a traffic offense would result in arraignment rather than a promise to appear (signature). That doesn't excuse his actions, of course, I'm just speculating on what might have happened. You know, I don't understand why folks here seem so happy that he committed suicide. There's no reason to think he killed the MC rider intentionally. OTOH, I'll bet a large percentage of "accidents" in which people are never charged with anything other than a traffic offense are actually the result of a bad tempered driver inflicting intentional damage. Can't be proven in most cases though.

You would think he had some intelligence being a doctor. What would be the worst thing that would have happened if he pulled over? Must have been a Chiropractor.

That's pretty straightforward. This (speaking of suicide), is just plain weird: http://news.aol.com/story?id=n20081208153809990047Quote:
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) - A George County High School football star died of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound early Monday after being pulled over by a sheriff's deputy, authorities said.
It's not clear why 17-year-old Billey Joe Johnson was stopped in Lucedale, but authorities say the junior tailback shot himself with a shotgun after the deputy walked back to the patrol car to run a license check.
"The deputy was sitting in his patrol vehicle ... when he heard a gunshot and saw the victim laying on the ground by the driver's side door of the vehicle that Johnson was driving. A shotgun was lying on the victim," according to a statement from the George County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities would not immediately say whether they believed the shooting was a suicide or an accident.
This guy had his whole life, including a potential NFL career, ahead of him.

John...very impressive stuff in that article. This kid had too much going for him. There's no way it was suicide...ya...it's plain wierd. As the article says: Quote:
Authorities would not immediately say whether they believed the shooting was a suicide or an accident.
Sheriff Garry Weford asked the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation to look into the death, said state Department of Public Safety spokesman Charlie Cook.
