NOAA says our overnight low will be 22°F. That means tomorrow morning will be my coldest ride to work since I came back to two wheels. Brrrrrr!!

Move to Las Vegas. High today to be in low 60's. Temp at 0500 is 52. I took the 9 MPG Ford F150 off the road, turned in the plates and the insurance.

I love the Speedy cuz it gets 45 to 50 MPG!

What do you wear while riding in that weather? Seriously, I just bought a Firstgear thermo suit, and it's good to 30F for about an hour, at highway speeds.

OK, so the temperature display board on the house thermostat went blank a few days ago. Momentarily dazed & confused, I replaced the 2 old AA batteries, with 2 fresh AA batteries. It came back to life, but now the temperature display is in Celsius (not Fahrenheit).

I'm not sure if I should be warm, cold or just maybe sell the darn house to some Canadian . The woodstove has the place at 24.5dC

You park your bike and ride a snowmobile while wearing snowmobile clothing. My thermometer is showing -42 this morning and unforetunately I have a lot of snow to shovel. We really got dumped on this week.

Well at least the sun is out. It's -14 but the sun is shining. And Helena got spared the worst of the snow. We only got a few inches.

I thought Edmonton was bad at -32. I shouldn't complain.

Cheers!

Nope..it gets worse and feels worse!

Been to -58F without wind chill a few years back, record in lower 48 east of Mississippi not far from here it was -60F the same week. Record in Lower 48 was in Montana at -70F and Alaska hits at -80.
Yea, that's right it's "Cool"

Man, the coldest I ever been in was about -15 when I was doing some work in an ice cream factory. It was in January and was about 12 or 13 degrees outside, so thats where we went to warm up!

When it starts getting THAT cold I would wonder if the freezing starts feeling like burning. Worst I ever felt is -20 F or so.

Frij, went for a ride last Sunday, started out at 24 F and 135 miles later it was 38 F. Wore a Power Trip Power Shift jacket with a cotton shirt under and Firstgear HT 2.0 overpants with cotton uniform pants under and a fleece neck gaiter and ski gloves. Toasty all day. EFI rules! 24 degrees and it started on the second rev.
