Recently I was up in Auckland and spied this beastie parked up which got my attention... I'm sorry to say I don't know anything about it or its builder but here are some pics...

designed by Mad Max?

Wow, that is some pretty extreme surgery to get the turbo on there. At first glance I thought 'that seat looks uncomfortable' but with only half a gas tank left you would not be on there for very long.

Among the fugliest builds I've seen. Could be fun though...

I dunno what to say!

Erm, in no particular order:

UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

How can the owner do that to such a wonderful machine?

UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

It's obviously just for straight lines; there's no way he'd be able to stay on that seat whilst going round a corner at any decent rate. (Looking at the tyres, s/he doesn't.)

What a waste!

Stock front brakes?

UUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!

Strangely, I can't stop looking at it.

In conclusion:

Yes, but how does it run? I can't see that being remotely practical for anything but drag racing.

It may be twice as quick, but from the looks of the tank, it only goes half as far.

My experience with owning three turbo powered cars in my past is that you'd better have sodium filled valves, or things burn up pretty quickly. Still, ain't nothing like that turbo whine and afterburner kick in the pants top make ya say, "Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!"

Mad Max was also the first thing into my mind. On further examination, I say it is "oddly hot", like that sort of strange girl in the office.
