Got a friend that's considering a '99 Legend. I've been telling him BA/SM is the way to go, but what can you do?? At least it's a Triumph. Anyone have any info on these? Thanks.

Man I like the Legends, I had a riding buddy who had one.. sweet bike... If I could afford one I'd have it for my 2nd bike.

If they still made 'em, I would have had a very hard time not buying a Legend. I have a buddy with one and he loves it. I gotta say, your friend can't go wrong either way.
Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.

very nice bikes the Legend/Adventurer all a bit longer in the leg engine size wise and a little bit more "modern" as opposed to the aircooled parrallel twin that we have. Class will always out and anyway he will still be welcome in the triumph circle. Cheers Mike

Great bikes! I know two guys with them and they can SMOKE me. Adjustable suspension, water cooled, look GREAT with low TBS bars. Real nice. Tell him to toss a K&N in there, he'll be able to lift the front in 3rd. About the only thing my friends wish for is the TBS 6 speed.

Thanks for the feedback so far guys. This is probably gonna seal the deal for him. The Legend is a cool looking machine.

I have a 2000 Legend, I perfer the SM but the Legend is a blast to ride when I want to tear up the road. My stepson has learned to ride on it and I will sign it over when he graduates from HS. It is a great fun ride!

The Legend is quite a nice bike. I think they should have named it the Trident II and continued making them.

Well, my bud just closed the deal on the Legend. Picks it up next week, if he can wait that long! The input offered cretainly helped along his decision.
