I know there is a lot of concerns about how much load we can put on our electrical systems and I thought I'd tell you guys what I've got going so far. A set of Moto Lights, that are halogen-driving lights. I know they are 55 watts each. I also have a set of running/brake/tail lights, from Electrical Connections. They are LED type lights and I don't know the draw on those. And as of yesterday, I have a pair of Tourmaster, "Synergy", electric gloves. They have a 24-Watt draw, and the bike is running fine with no ill effects. At Idle the lights dim a little, but they have always done that a little before I put anything else on the bike and I can't say it's any worse than it was before.
It looks like the charging system is up to the task of handling the load for now; so if you guys want to extend your ridding season into the winter months, get some heated gloves. BTW. they work very well. I rode in mid 30* temps w/ winds of 20 and gusts of 40 MPH. head on at 60 Mph. my hands were warm as toast.
