I have a warped disc on the front of my speedy. The discs were changed under warranty before I owned the bike and now the new discs are warped too after about 4000 miles. I have been looking for a pair of discs to replace the stock items as I have no confidence in these. Anyway I wanted a pair of wavey discs just cause I think they will look cool and after much searching I am getting a pair of these made. I will post pics when I get them on. The company who is supplying them is in Wales so not much use to most of you lol. http://www.triumph-ant.co.uk/spares.html

Looks like something a ninja would use!! Nice. The one problem I have with the Speedie front disc is that they hide far too much of the front wheel. How much?

That sounds like a really good price too. I like the look myself. Not sure what shipping would be to get them sent over here but if it isn't too bad I wouldn't mind getting a set.

Personnely, I like the "drilled" look more, but we all know how much "personnel opinions" mean! Anyway, you say your having these made? Does that mean one offs, just for you? Or are they avalible for other Triumph owners? And are they for another brand bike that just happens to fit the Triumph?

When it comes to brakes, I enjoy the fact that there's about a billion other people on the road with the same setup. If there is a problem with manufacturing, someone else will most likely find out before I do...which is nice.

Erle, they where made to order cause he had none in stock, and I think they were for the old thunderbird and happen to fit the speedmaster.

Had a day off today so got this wee job finished, new pads and wheel back on. All I need now is a nice day to get out for a run and bed them in a bit.

Just a wee update on my new front discs. I have only done 20 miles on them so far and after a few miles bedding in I have noticed no difference from the old front brake so I'm thinking its looking good so far lol. I have a rear disc to match and will get it fitted with a thunderbird cush drive and a set of sprockets (19 tooth front) as soon as i get some days of work.
