Did you get them from DaveQuinn? How much did they run? Look really nice.

Had them on for the last 4,500 miles or so; they're great. Compression and rebound damping are combined so you're not messing about adjusting them. Set the preload and then choose 1 of 12 damping settings and you're on your way.

Combine with progressive springs (I stuck with Hagon) and a slightly heavier oil and the handling is transformed.

I would, however, recommend doing the fork springs first; the rears are for comfort, the front for safety.

I bought them from Bellacorse.com for 559.00 us...and its all about comfort for me...I had major surgery and the new seat along with these shocks allows me to keep riding : ) yee haw! I keep reading that the front forks need to be replaced first..for my 09 america I disagree... Ride safe!

I have done 3500 miles on these shocks and can recomend them very highly. My speedy was way to soft in the back end and these shocks transformed the handling for me.

I thought I was the only one with the Nitros?

Anyway, I too knew that I needed the best money could buy given I had a new prosthetic disc put in 2 years ago plus 3 other discs that give me grief as well. Now with the hagons progressives both front and back plus the Corbin seat with backrest and highway pegs, I now feel more comfortable on my bike than any other place I can think of and that's for distances just not possible before.

You can say that again ie

But I think this puts into perspective the importance of having good suspension otherwise I can speak from experience that the stock shocks virtually had me laid up at times as they just were not up to the job. It's as simple as that really.
