We only met once but I remember a good dog. My condolences to you and Di on the loss of your faithful friend.

Sorry Chy, It is very hard to lose friends like that. Most of us go through it and eventually go find a new friend knowing you will lose him or her too, but you can't live without them.

My condolences.

It's a special dog that ignores every other bike on the road as they buzz by the house...but stands and alerts on the distant sound of a Triumph before we even hear it, waiting patiently for his friend and master to return. He will be missed...AC and I send our deep condolences to you and Di.

Chy, sorry to here about your loss. A mans dog is his best friend. He sticks by you thick and thin.
He will love you no matter who you are or what you've done.
RIP little fluffy one.

It's a sad day, when you have to say, "goodbye" to an animal who loved you unconditionally. I still miss my Dixie, and she's been gone seven years now. My condolences.

truly a sad day!!!! i know what that dog was and he will be missed by all who were ever touched by such a good animal. i believe there is a very special place for such after they pass and i am sure he is there. how is grrr??? be carefull with him, be extra kind, for he has lost his best friend also. it will be sad to not see him there in may. take care my friend!!!! it is better to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all. it seems that those of us who have owned animals always end up owning "that one" you know, that one, the one that was the best and we will never forget, i dont know for sure if he was "that one" but i know if not, he had to have been way up on the list!!! my condolences to you and yours, grr has some big paw prints to fill now.

ENJOY!!!!! NEWT!!!!!

How true Newt, I had a Pitbull named Millie. She was that one special dog above all the rest. Never had to yell at her for anything more than once and in most cases she just seemed to know what was right or wrong. Very smart lovable dog.Lost her quite a few years ago and it hurts like yesterday when I think of her. That doesn't take away from the love I have had for my other dogs.

I know when I lost Harley Ed suggested I get another dog instead of waiting. I was going to wait but was running around shelters on my bike anyway. Playing with the dogs made me feel a little better then one picked me and it really helped me with the pain. Not to mention it would be a new playmate for your other dog. Not that I mean rush right out and get one but be open to the idea if the right one surfaces, it would be a shame to miss that next special friend due to grief for your lost family member.

Chy, both of my "boys" were rescued labs and are just as much part of the family as I am. I try not to think how hard it will be when they're time with me is up, so I just try and focus on the time I have got so I will have the memories. My prayers are with you and your family.

Oh man. That just does really suck. He was such a laid back pup. Bummer. Well, the rainbow bridge has another fine soul and we have lost one. Hate that.
