My bike has short slash TOR's on it. I always found them too quiet. How can i make them louder?

You can but it depends what type they are as to how hard it is to do. I have seen them where there is a tube all the way through and those seem to be harder to gut. Then there are some that are set up more like std. exhaust, those would be easier.

Check this link, this is what I did to my long TOR's...only cost me $5 at Home Depot...big improvement,a nd easy to do. With your short TOR's you may only have two baffles. Just do one set of baffle plates, on each pipe, at a time. Then try it out, and if you want them louder do another set of baffles. http://www.bonnevilleamerica.com/forums/...true#Post334920
'06 Speedmaster, Long TORS, rest is stock (for now)

I got the short slash cut TORs on my Speedmaster.I was always a little disappointed in the sound. So I took them off.You can see straight through the ones I bought.I then looked in the front end and seen a restrictor. It looks like a freeze plug with a hole drilled in it.I took my porting tool at work and reemed out the hole all the way.It is a little louder, but not too loud.I did not know how it sounded until the other week.I switched bikes a friend of mine has a new Ducati GT1000.He road in front of me down the freeway for quite awhile. My bike sure sounded good to me riding behind on the Ducati. He has always told me he can not hear his bike if I am riding by him(too bad).
