There is an old Van Halen story, "reported to be true".
On their first tour, VH were having what they thought was excessive overtime from the crew.
David Lee Roth came up with an idea.
Each crewmember had a number of Back Stage passes to give out. The roadies signed the back of the passes.
After the show, if a band member picked a girl with your pass, you got $100.
And the crew were free to hook up with any of the fans not
chosen by the band,
provided all their work was done first.
The post-show breakdown went from 9-and-a-half hours to 93 minutes, 45 seconds.

Now
that's a management style.
