I am riding a Triumph again. My buds ride Harleys,(mostly). I am not thin skined, but here it is, most of us have Irish bloodlines. Question? What do Irish bikers Perfer? I mean besides an Irish brew Another question, Has there ever been a Irish made motorcycle?

Well, to answer that question Nolan, back in the mid-1960s there WAS a very short-lived concern headquartered right outside Dublin for a while which came very close to marketing a "motorcycle" of sorts.
But unfortunately the whole venture from the outset was geared to a very small market of consumers, and thus it was somewhat ill-fated from the beginning.
Below is a very rare picture taken of their lone pre-production model being ridden by one of the [little] people they had planned to market it to..... . . . . . . .

(BTW...word is that after the whole venture failed, a few of their employees moved to the U.S. and found gainful employment with General Mills, whereupon they were given credit for a much more successful marketing campaign of a certain breakfast cereal, which I understand has the slogan of being "Magically Delicious"...or something like that anyway)

I hear these were under rated , and are now very desirable. They made 200 RWHP and were very light. Look how easily it lifts the front wheel.

Carry some tools to help make roadside repairs to your buddies HD's. That always wins them over and gets some use out of your tools. Google says one bike made in Ireland: Irish Motorcycles
Fagan Motorcycles 1935-1937

No sorry would disagree with you on that point. Most of us have biker bloodlines. I dont like the idea of of our heritage being watered down.
