Just got my new sheepskin buttpads from alaskaleather.com They fit perfect and feel so niiiice! The front pad is size medium deluxe and the pillion is type 4 deluxe. Ordered on Thursday afternoon and recieved at my house in Phoenix on Saturday. Very good quality and service.

One more picture showing detail of the elastic straps that secure it. ( I couldn't figure out how to get two pictures in one posting.)

I also have butt pads from AlaskaLeather. They seem to be made just for our seats, and they are very reasonably priced. I got front and rear for 25 bucks.

I like mine but I stopped using it because on long trips I like to stand up in the saddle to "air things out" and get some circulation going (recently I got the NewSpeedmaster rear peg brackets that move the passenger pegs forward - now I can really stand not just prop myself up on the Corbin backrest as I've been doing for years - but I digress...).

I didn't get the nose strap and when I stand up the wind blows it back folding it in half at the main strap. It's a massive PITA to reach back between my legs, straighten it out and sit back down. So get the nose strap if you like to stand in the saddle.

(They offered to send me the strap material for free after the fact but it's just a chunk of nylon strap you can get anywhere. I'm still going to get mine fixed up locally.)

Farewell the neighing steed, and the shrill trump,
The spirit-stirring drum, the ear-piercing fife,
The Royal banner, and all quality,
Pride, Pomp, and Circumstance of glorious war!

Apparently Moe thought a bit of culture needed to be added to this environment.

jeez. The sheepskin saddle covers remind me of the funny hats. The motorsickles wearing them take on an aire of Pomp and Circumstance.

errr, correction. Beaver. You may now continue with the highjinks....

Oh, I do have one of these and I have to admit it has added to the distance I can do with my corbin before "butt burn" sets in. I went from 10 hours of riding to 12. YAY!!

They're good for under 500 miles but for more I'd recommend the Gel butt pads that Alaska Leather makes. I wonder if Sarah Palin has one for her Harley?

Sorry to appear pedantic, Edward, but these guys aren't in the English Army, 'cos there isn't one - they are in the British Army. England isn't the same as Britain, it is only one part of it.

Not officially, John, but there have been recent reports, in the national UK press c 12 months ago, of both a Cornish Republican Army and a Cornish National Liberation Army but I know nothing about either of them.

This is one I got made for the low profile seat.
$120 AU. Easily extends my riding by a couple of hundred K's

What it can't reach it spits at.
