Last Weekend: 80 degrees.

Right now: Snow. The accumulation is pretty light down here in the valley, but they're saying as much as 2' in the mountains.

Where's Fall? What happened to Autumn? The leaves were just barely changing.

Here in Atlanta, we generally have long, beautiful springs and falls and relatively mild winters. But we pay for those in spades with our killer summers.

You know how ANYBODY here hates to rub it in, but the weather here this weekend was FANTASTIC! 80 degrees and balmy, no wind. I know it's way too much to ask for this weather to last till the ARK ride in two weeks, so I won't ask.

Here just outside of Buffalo, New York it was 80 degrees this weekend. Sweet!!

Before we know it we will have 4 feet on the ground. Have to love that lake effect snow! That's okay...time to break out the snowmobiles.

It's been beeeoooteous weather here in central Arkansas the past few days. The leaves are just starting to turn, and the riding temps are perfect.

I talked to my parents yesterday (they are in Salt Lake), it's the same thing there too.

We got off light, though. Billings got 22" in places. The rest of the city got at least 12". I think we got a few.

We had light snow Friday and Saturday and warmed to 50 on Sunday. I couldn't take it and had to ride with the new windshield today. It was sunny, clear and 20 degrees. I was surprised how much the windshield helped. It should warm up to the 70's during the week. I hate winter.

Well folks, it's still summer here in SoCal.

(...and the GAZILLION people who NOW live here seem to be out there on the road enjoyin' it too...with cellphone to ear...despite the new law!)

First we had some nice sunny days and I rode to work. Warm enough that I carried my jacket out to the bike after working the late shift and getting out at 10:00 PM. Then there were a couple of rainy days. Then, the forecast was possible snow for last night but it probably wouldn't stick. I don't mind a white xmas, but a white halloween?
