Nice work on your TBA Bob. How do you like the Clearview? Don't see any lowers on your bike yet! Don

I just put it on this afternoon and believe it or not I didn't even have time for a test ride yet! But I sure like the way it looks. I think it's size is more appropriate for the size of the bike I always thought that the stock shield looked too small. As for the lowers , they are in the planning stages. Just an aside ..it took 7 1/2 weeks to get the shield after I ordered it. But it's very nice quality and priced right.

Nice photo's. Be careful with your Saddlemen bags. I have the same ones and both of them have cracked on the plastic where the mounting hardware is attached. I was able to repair it by drilling the cracks (big ones) to stop them and sandwiching plexi on either side to stiffen things up.

+1
if you don't reinforce them they will break away from the EZ bracket plate.

Yep. That's right where mine gave way. No problems since I reinforced them.

Mine cracked away as well. Attempting a fix-up with some JB Weld and washer application. Not sure it will hold to the plastic but like the suggestions here if it fails.

I just went out and bought a piece of 22 guage steel that I will cut into two 9" by 9" squares to reinforce the inside of the bags. I previously bought a couple of small squares of plexiglass to do the job but I cracked the first one I drilled holes in , so it didn't seem heavy enough to me. The 22 gauge steel is pretty light but very strong so that oughta do'er.
