I know it's a long shot, but is there any chance a center stand from a Bonneville will fit our bikes? If not, can it be easily modded to fit?

that just sems to much for a stand, has anybody got a drawing with the sizes on so I could make one for a speedy?

I think I am going to build one of these. Its a home build bike lift. Wont work for on the road, but will be fine for the garage. and waay cheaper than a center stand. http://www.sportster.org/tech/rickko-lift/Yankee Dog

Mango made himself a pretty nice one that is for garage use only, and has a sweet quick-connect to the frame, maybe you can ask him a question or two about it
