I would say that the ones that fall off first are the best

Absolutely! I actually like Whitewalls on the right looking bike I'm very much an antagonist (sometimes referred to as A-hole), and sometimes can't resist a chance to start sh-t. (see some of my other posts).
I Like ALL bikes in all shapes and dress, and like most all riders, with the exception of the "J.C.Whitney poster bikers , The "Hard Core Wannabes with their spotless, pressed, hardcore T-shirts and bluejeans , and "Mr. Rogers neighborhood gang"!
Opps, there I go again.

I run the Maxxis ones, I believe they are the only ones that come in our size.
You will need to modify the front fender bracket a bit as they end up rubbing slightly.

I just put on a set of MAXXIS on my America. I like the way they look and handle, I had Bridgestones (blackwall) that came on the bike and got 10k miles off them. The rear still had more to go.

I got mine from Accessories International out of Florida (www.accessoryinternational.com) Front is a 120/90-18 ~$90.00 and the rear is a 170/80-15 ~$135.00 plus S&H.

I also had to modify the front fender, raised it up maybe 1/2 inch because the tire is taller. Just added some plating to the bottom of the fender brace and drilled new holes.

Hope this helps.

Kevin

I went with Maxxis also. Bike Bandit has them cheap, dennis kirk will match any advertised price you can find.
