Started out at 5:50AM and 46deg F. Ended at 6:00PM and 80deg. I need some gloves with gauntlets, and no mesh! ****** cold at 70mph and 46deg. (like 24deg F windchill) Second day of my MSF course. 1 more to go, and I get my full endorsement. Clay

My 5 mile journey today took 40 miles. The bike's evil, I tell ya!! It lures you in with promises of fuel economy, etc., and ends up forcing you to ride further than you would normally. But it's insidious; it convinces you you're happy to do it. Sometimes it forces you to giggle out loud. Evil.

Yesterday I drove 27 miles one way to get a watch band. I could have waited 'til Monday since I work around the corner from Wally world.
D**n bike sucked me right in!

Same here. I've got a 10 minute walk to work but when I decide to take the bike in, I'm a half hour late! go figure....

that happened to me on sunday. was on my way to the lab to do some catch-up work, and turned right out of town for a four hour ride. beautiful weather, and autumn leaves falling, and i found some nice open bare road with plenty of hills and twisties. missouri backroads can be nice, once you get out of town
there are 10 kinds of people in the world. those that understand binary, and those that don't.

Yeah it's a pain when you decide to keep the fuel costs down and push the bike to work.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
