Myrtle Beach government passed a noise ordinance recently and will begin enforcing it at this week's "Pilgrimage" bike event, according to Spartanburg newspaper. Traffic stops and sound measuring devices will be deployed as a "rehearsal" for the bigger events held in May where 100's of thousands of bikes usually show up.
Don't know what the exact decibel criteria will be but Bubs and Sceptres probably won't make the cut.
