20% is less efficient, and takes more to burn at same efficiency as straight gas.

Average, 135-140 miles to reserve
Best 165
Tire pressure seems to make the biggest difference for me. I now run 40 psi front and 46 rear (per Metzler published recommendations), and my mileage has been higher into the 140s before reserve.

How about 90-100 miles to hitting reserve? That is my norm. I do run it hard 90-100% of the time though, That might have something to do with it too?

all stock speedy I'll run 95 - 102 miles before reserve running 90+ mph for almost the full run. (rt 50 from DC to Annapolis and back) there are 2 or 3 miles on each end below 35 mph.
rolling only around the city with no more than 35-40 I've done 156 as my best before needing to switch over.
I keep the bike upright between my legs and my butt off the seat and fill the tank right to the edge when gassing up.

Did you plumb the tank directly to the cylinders? Yikes!!

The one time I hit the Reserve it was at around 135. I get much better milage now on the highway. I can push 52-53 mpg now if I keep her at around 60 mph.

I got 90 or so miles on the whole tank once. I ran the 90 miles from Great Falls to Helena one evening averaging 90-95mph. I usually do the trip at 75-80mph on the interstate with no gas problems. For some reason I decide to burn it hard and used up A LOT of gas. I ran out of gas before I could make it to a gas station in town (should have filled up at the north end of the valley, but I had to push it like an idiot).

I hear ya! I went out riding a day in the mountains and really wasn't paying too much attention when I had to switch to reserve. I was miles from the nearest gas station and was getting pretty cocerned, not really knowing the area made it worse. Luckily I did make it to a gas station but when I shook the tank I realized that I would not have made it much farther, a couple miles at best!
