I am in the market to purchase a flyscreen. I have read countless posts on all sorts of screens. I don't really feel like spending the money on a Triumph flyscreen and the Dart looks nice. The responses to other posts on the Dart are positive, but I am a little concerned because I don't think they are adjustable. In my search I have come across a couple mentioning the National Cycle flyscreen, but not much was said about their quality or performance. It is my understanding that they actually make the Triumph flyscreen. Their website kind of sucks, and I don't want to buy something that isn't of good quality. Any feedback on either would be greatly appreciated.

Pokey, if you get the Switch Blade mounts from National you can get an adjustable fly-screen from them. Call and ask for Steve and give him the order. Mount # is, Q102. If you have an 07, or an 08 you'll need additional mounting straps to fit the tapered shroud that cover the fork tubes. The top strap is #37-370173-000 and the bottom is #37-370174-000. The model windscreen is the same as the Honda, Shadow Spirit 750, or the Shadow Ace 97-2000. I don't have the fly screen so when you get it, if you do, let me know how it fits and what you think. Oh I almost forgot, when you put the mounting kit on, you have to turn the top spool around to make up the difference in the taper on the forks. They really don't make kits for our bikes, I just bugged the he77 out of them until they swapped parts back and forth, till I had what I needed to get a great quality windshield. Other than that just follow the instructions that comes with the kit and your good to go. You'll have the option to run four different screens or none at all with those same mounts w/o useing any tools. Five seconds on or off.

Chip, Thanks for all that good info. I will keep that set up in my "dream-sheet" archives. I am looking for something a little less costly.

Moe,
I like the flyscreen. If I would have seen that a couple of days ago I would have had one of those made. I ended up ordering the Dart.

That flyscreen is from the Honda. Do the other switchblade screens from the same bikes fit? I'm having a little trouble understanding this.
