Went to the grand opening of the new dealer off 580 in Livermore, Ca yesterday and enjoyed seeing some of the NorCal Presidents who were out on the their ride over Mt Hamilton, got a free meal, watched BMW's really great trick-rider get crazy in the parking lot, got a couple free hats and besides seeing all the new bikes they had one of the Bonneville Anniversary Bikes. This is a fuel injected engine and as advertised they used a mock-up carburetor as a throttle body. I was expecting something less but from the looks, I had a hard time believing it was actually not carbureted - they did a very nice job of it - the oxygen sensors on the two exhaust headers were a give-away.
Anyway it's a very nice motorcycle store and they gave Triumph its due with a nice store front and large showroom compared to most (multiple brand dealerships) triumph dealers I have seen in the bay area. It was only 46 miles from he coastside but the Mountain view dealer is closer for me.
