Well, we now have a new dealership up here in North Georgia. After Triumph of North Georgia (AKA Machines in Motion) closed down I was dreading having to go all the way to Atlanta (hate big cities) or Ashville, NC. for service. Well, as things have worked out Moto 400 in Dawsonville, Ga. has taken over the Triumph Franchise.

So far they have been sending me emails about their dealership and it looks like they are active in organizing rides, RAT and others, having open houses and other events.

Going down there this Saturday for a vintage bike show, food and whatever, then at 6PM there is a Rat ride to Dahlonega for dinner. Sounds good so far, but I still miss the "family" at Triumph of North Georgia.

So I have been thinking about what this photo tells us about the man himself?
From left to right:
1. (Di) He married up - way up.
2. (Chy) He is in pretty good shape, for the shape he is in.
3. (Lynn)At least one of his friends has married up as well.
4. (Gordon) His adopted son resembles a Hollywood Marine with way too much hair (think Charlie Sheen in a bad 80's action movie).

Yeah, they seem pretty serious about the RAT pack and good about organizing events to promote interest.
Di and I will be there for the RAT ride Saturday, hope to see you and the Mrs/future mrs?(have you tied the knot yet?) there.

Hey Chy, what time you headin down to Moto 400? Nope, haven't "tied the knot" yet. We're looking at early spring, probably May.

Hey, I like what Moe posted. So you are doing Triumph work at your place. Fantastic. I would definetly prefer you do my work, but what about the warranty? Can you do my 6000 mile service or does a Triumph Dealer have to do it so not to void the warrenty? I still have almost a year left.

It will probably be around 5 pm before we can get there Saturday but maybe we can still catch a bit of the show.

Yes I can do your 6000 mile service and no it doesn't effect your warranty whether or not it is done at a dealer. I did all my own services after the 500 mile as a lot of people do. Besides.. Triumph certified me so what can they say?
Warranty work is another issue.. that has to be handled through a dealer.

May? hmmm how about the first weekend in May? Saturday May 2nd 2009... Would you like to have a motorcycle escort? An honor guard?(Georgia Rally)

Hmmmm, a motorcycle escort. I like the sound of that. Tell me more!

May 2nd. could work too. We're not planning anything fancy, just an outdoor wedding, A BBQ, friends, Post Office folks, and now, a bunch of bad ****** bikers from all over the country. That would be a good little honeymoon too, take off with the Rally and stay somewhere different----but I'm not sharing our room!
