So, lemme get this straight. The guy crashes in a ditch, and an SUV full of people - none with any conscience whatsoever - stops, and instead of rendering any aid to the injured guy, one of the low rent jerkwads STEALS HIS BIKE?!?!?!?!?

I could never ride a bike which anyone was killed on, bad karma and all. Also, I'd be thinking of the poor soul each time I rode. I hate to say it, but a part of me hopes that the same misfortune which befell the rightful owner might visit the scumbag. There, I said it!

One of the things that I believe in is that people get what they deserve, either in this life or the next. It's the only thing that keeps me from going violent myself, sometimes. In a related vein, in a small town just north of here, a man, his wife, and his brother got caught last month stealing Brass funeral urns for flowers off of graves in two local graveyards. Takin them to the scrapyard for money. Theres a rash of gravesite thefts in this area lately, flowers, momento's, anything metal. What has this society come to?

And ah...let us not forget to ALSO include the PARENTS of these lowlifes(that is IF these lowlifes even know who they are) in this little "get together", now Dennis.
(seeing as how they "might have had" somethin' to do with making these lowlifes the lowlifes they are today...RIGHT?!)
(I swear, AND I've said this before around here...I seldomly have met ANY parent who's always lamenting about their "wayward kids" and who while I listen to their crap haven't noticed that THEIR friggin' "porchlight" is OBVIOUSLY "a little dim"!...yep...it's ALMOST a guaran-friggin'-TEE, alright!!!)

There are quite a few sub-humans living in the US these days.
About a month or so ago local news showed a surveillance camera video of a hit and run in Hartford. The guy hit was one of those people who just walk out into traffic.
But what got me was the bystanders, "people" just walking down the sidewalk "oh look guy laying in the street, better walk faster".Car just driving past him. In fact the only person to show any concern at all was a dude on a motorcycle, He made a uturn went back looked at the guy. Made another uturn and left.
i'm just surprised nobody lifted his wallet.

It all traces back to Dr. Spock and his teaching people that they shouldn't make their brats behave because it might damage their nasty little personalities.

I'll never understand how people born and educated in a culture like ours can do that. I stop whenever I witness an accident, even a minor one, so I can give contact info to the person who was hit. There's nothing worse than seeing the guy who's in the wrong get away with it .

Yep...I'm a hard one to figure out sometimes, ain't I Lester?!
And that "could be" because I see the folly and the absurdity in almost EVERYTHING out there, duuuuuuude!
(but trust me...if it came to a lynch mob, I'd be the Henry Fonda character in "The Oxbow Incident"....BTW, I'd suggest a WHOLE LOT o' people around here should watch THAT old movie, my friend!)

Hold on are we talking about 2 seperate but very simalar incedents here? the tape I saw was on local news. And pretty sure it said Hartford. In the footage I saw the walker was hit by fisrt car in what lloked like a chase or street race.
