Took me a while to get round to it,
booked my tickets today.
Friday and Saturday camping,
should make a good entrance if we can arrange all going down from "Up North" together.

All the best Chris Do it today - tommorrow it may be illegal.

Guys speaking to one of the organisers of Gaydon last night. If you are attending and and will be camping please make sure that you book your camping pitch as only approximately 100 pitches are left. These will go and you will be left trying to find alternative camping in the area .....So do yourself a favour book now to save dissapointment.....

Booked camping for the weekend - I assume that's one and the same Eric? Or do I need to tick another box somewhere?

That's it Ray - I don't have to book a pitch or anything right? I have visions of some yellow jacket telling me I in the horse field 4 miles down the road 'cos I didn't fill out Form 37b/part 3/subsection A - otherwise know as the Pitch Allocation Form.

Someone needs to now book the weather for the weekend.

Monday .......and now the Hog roast is open to all on the Friday. Much more sensible. Worryingly I have been told the bar will close at 23-00 hours ...are they mad......Last rally I went to when something like that happened ...several large gentlemen persuaded the bar to re open....I think letting the other chap wear his helmet as they used him as a battering ram would have helped matters....It may have cut down on the whimpering and swearing .....

Went out and bought a new tent today... as you recall the last one bit the dust at the Buxton rally... I was looking at the usuall £15.00 bargains and M said no you pick yourslef a good one and it may last a little longer...

The one I picked is a Vango Tempest 300 anyone ever heard of them £100.00 paid down from £120.00...

Tempest 300 eh Ray - you'll be on millionaires row. My accommodation by contrast cost 9.50 including postage from fleabay. We'll be in the shanty town district of the campsite.
Lookin' forward to it bro!

I have a Vango Tent..can't remember the model..I spent ages trying to purchase a British made tent. When it arrived...it had the usual made in China tag on it...doh. However its a good tent and done me proud. 3 Hoop jobby...is that what yours is like Ray?

Had the earlier Vango 300, lasted about 2 years, now have a Khyam eiger and a Khyam freelander, both well made and easy to erect, have had the eiger about 4 years and still in good nick. Khyams may be slightly more expensive, but it's a small price to pay for something that lasts.

I'm bumping this too...

And what time are people looking at getting there...??
Just looked on the website and it says the site isn't open till 5. I've misplaced the paper that came with the tickets - but still have the tickets - so I don't know what that says... anyone help?

I've arranged to meet the TOMCC Bristol people to leave at 2. It only takes 2 hours according to google maps so in theory would be there by 4... but know we'll have to stop and so that's why I've left the extra time.
