Just had an email from NIBiker that they are limiting the number to 40,000. So if you are interested in attending this in 2009 I would suggest ordering tickets pretty soon

I was looking at this the other day and was going to post something about it but you know how things go - the dog ate my homework, the house caught fire ect ect ect.

Looks like it could be quite a good party!

OK so who else has paid??

I haven't yet - it's gonna have to wait till the next payday.

I've also put it on the Bristol TOMCC forum (so new only me and the secretary are members....) so hopefully there'll be some from there going too.

Gina 03 America - Pretty stock - except the TBS wheel... 06 America - missing, presumed in bits. With it's TBS wheel... 09 America - It's very blue....

Hey Ivan if you are going down maybe an idea to meet up with our crowd and ride down together, we are trying to arrange a meet with Scotland North and South to travel en masse to the show. The more the merrier, will let you know what is happening, that way you can decide if you want to join in. Be some sight we reckon around 75 to 100 Triumphs all together. Now that would make a fine sight on the road.

I'd presume we would all be camping under the Bonnevilleamerica.com flag (the one Gina hand made) when we get to the field at Gaydon

I'm seriously thinking about making the trip from north america next summer. I would probably have my wife with me so maybe no bike and no camping but it would be great to meet people on site.

If I buy tickets they say they'd send the 2 weeks in advance. that's probably no good so if anyone live near the site and would hold them for me i'd appreciate a pm.

A couple of other things:
-We know from experience that london accommodations is cruelly expensive. I looked at "where to stay" links and the chain motels in the area were 40-50 GBP. Does that sound right?
-The site is quite near coventry and birmingham. I'd be keen to tour around the industrial age areas and the original factory sites - does that seem nuts?
-If I did get up the courage to ride on the left where might i rent?

Anyone else from north america planning to go?
-

Mean me????

No. We're sending off a branch booking next meeting. Most of them are just going for the day though.

As I'm off work again, I'm having to budget for everything, and so this is a luxury. It'll be sorted though.

Ray, looking at how many people are going - it may be easier to ask who isn't going.

It's going to be one huge round at the bar!

Bill if you are coming over the pond then why not hire a bonnie while you are here, check out http://www.ukmotorbikehire.co.uk/TheBikes/Triumph/tabid/61/Default.aspx
Prety good rates and all new machines every couple of months so very reliable.
