Nah I thought HD's required engineer boots...
I see these sandals being marketed in primary colors with dragons and whatnot to match the fullface helmets worn by the shorts-and-tanktop-sporting Ninja/CBR riders :P

I really hope that ad is a joke, but I wouldn't be suprised if not - I have seen way to many riders this summer wearing sandals.

Way cool, what a good idea!
This will save me time at motorcycle crashes fiddling about with complex catches and sophisticated locking mechanisms on motorcycle boots.
It'll just be a case now of following the skid marks and picking up toes all down the road.
Do they come in any other colours? - forget that because they'll all end up in red anyhow!

I've been known to wear sandels before, as seen in some of my pic's.
I've been chastised for it by people here in my home state of Florida, who thought it crazy to wear them. 95% of THEM don't wear a helmet!?!?

No, 90% of the time I ride with no helmet, shorts,t-shirt,good shoes. I do live in Florida, where heat & humidity are 9 mounths out of the year. I just think it's odd that people who religiously ride with no helmet would be concerned over no shoes! Head hitting pavement @ 70 mph is ok, but heaven forbid I hurt my foot!

I'm puttin motorcycle riding sandals on my top ten list of moron ideas. Right up there with toilet paper oil filter elements and any album by Boy George.  Oh, and one more, "fake CB atennae's", for customizing your van.(For the complete list, write your name and adress on a $20 dollar bill, and send it to...)

looks like those things are made for the Scooter crowd,I see alot of people in sandles or just bare feet riding them..

Took the family to vist the grandparents last summer. While on the NY Thruway, I was passed by a guy riding an HD with no shirt at all. I guess all the ink he had must have been some new super special road rash resistant formula....

Those should be very comfortable when you have to shut off the AC because the weight of the trailer load of bikes causes the minivan to heat up.

The sole is reinforced with a fibreglass plate. I refuse to wear a sandal that doesn't have a reinforced fibreglass plate. That's crazy & foolhardy.
