Just changed my rear brake pads after only 6500 miles. Anyone? is this the norm, I have a 02 BA I bought it with 2800 miles showing on it. I rode an old Harley for 20 years and I got much better life out of the brakes. Yes I have foot pegs no I dont ride the brake, maybe the original owner did, I dont know Any help

That's about right for the stock OEM rear pads. I put on some EBC's just at 6K and they lasted nearly 11k. And I'm primarily a front braker.

I rode on my stock OEM rear brake pads for almost 8,000 miles. I didnt notice how bad they where untill I was cleaning my chain, at which point I noticed that the pads were almost nonexistant. Talk about a close one. I also changed them out with EBC's. You will not believe the difference they make, SOOOOO much better than stock.
