Deon - Thanks - Actually I guess that was more of a song I couldn't get out of my head, rather than wishing it would go away, at least out of my frontal lobes. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpV5InLw52UBob

So Bob, I'm guessin' your musical library probably also DOESN'T include the selected works of Slim Whitman EITHER then, HUH?! (dude, I gotta tell ya...you haven't lived until you've heard his rendition of "Indian Love Call"!) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4a28EBGEkCs(BUT Lord forgive me here...I HAVE to ADMIT that I've always kind'a liked his rendition of "I Remember You", 'cuz I've always liked THAT song) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JH64weKPF60
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

And it flows into a very nice Andy Kaufman skit

"Puberty Love" as performed by Matt Cameron, who would later go on to be the drummer for Soundgarden and Pearl Jam It has kept my killer tomatoes small all year

That ROCKS! And that guy is nuts, pretty much what I pictured when listening to the song. I'm thinking a combo of speed and caffeine...

The percentage you're paying is too high-priced
While you're living beyond all your means
And the man in the suit has just bought a new car
From the profit he's made on your dreams

Ok, so I'll go against the grain. Stairway is a great song.
Agreed. I bought LZ4 the first day it went on sale, and Stairway was absolutely awesome .
Then the radio stations found out.
All (well, both) rock stations played it every ten minutes for months. Even though that was 35 or so years ago, it's still ruint.
Contra todo mal, mezcal; contra todo bien, tambiƩn

I like Stairway too but due to the radio over playing it I never listen to it on purpose from my collection but still love it if it comes on the radio. At first I groan but then after a few seconds I remember why I liked it in the first place.

Exactly! Why deprive yourself of its greatness just because you heard it a thousand times, too many times, decades ago! I bet anyone's never heard it more than twice a year in the past ten years. Guaranteed that if you play STH with a decent set of headphones on or great speakers really loud, that you'd enjoy it just like you did in "the old days"! Same goes for many other classics, like Layla (great guitars!)...
