It's been 50 days since we started off for the Euro Rally in Lake Iseo and I can't seem to find my way home.

After Eddy left us in Amsterdam I headed south in what I thought was the general direction of my home.

I keep hearing these strange languages and a ship even took us to a place called Tomorrow or Morocco or something like that (they speak a language that sounds like Arabic).

Several days later, we found an airport in a place called Barcelona and Kathy got onto a plane headed for Athens as she had commitmnets.

I came across a town called Andorra. I thought I was nearing home as it sounded familiar, only there are lots of mountains (and fog) I think they call the Pyrenees or something.
This ain't Greece in September.

It turned out it was a country.

Where to next?

Boy am I LOST!

At least you have the weather in Spain Thanassis, and as you head back over the border to France you are quite near my wife's sister in "St Gervais Sur Mare", don't know if that's a good thing or not though...

I think I see a pattern... one that I'm envious of.

Ah, Thanassis, I'd be happy to get lost with you anytime..

Sounds good Dwight ill be seeing you in "Hel" then

Hi Thanassis, was wondering where you had got to. Are we going to get a report from you, after you have found the way home of course?

regards,

Nick

I hope you remembered to tell the milkman to stop deliveries.

What a great journey! I for one am very envious.

61 days after we set out from Athens ...
After I finally got out of this Andorra country and my previous post eleven days ago I headed out to go and see Marcy.
Now who Marcy was I would just have to wait and see.
Turns out it was a city called Marseilles.
From there I went to see the movie stars in Cannes but ... there weren't any.
People there said something about seeing some place nice.
So I went ... and it was Nice, the city.
I got so frustrated I just left and headed further north to Monte Carlo.
Went back to Nice, thinking I could perhaps catch a ferry that would bring me closer to home.
I went into a ticket office and overheard some people who had just bought their tickets saying they would see something to do with Napol... or something like that.
Ah! I thought, Napoli! That's somewhere I know which is certainly closer to home.
I said to the lady to give me a ticket same as them ... pointing to the people who preceded me.
I ended up in Corsica.
It was Napoleon the people were talking about ... NOT Napoli!

I got so disappointed with all this messing around I just went to the south of the island and got onto another ferry which took me further south to Sardinia.

Some people there said I should take the ferry from the south of the island and go and see the "Familia".
I figured they had caught on to my ignorance and took pity on me, thus helping me find my family.

So, here I am on yet another ferry, heading for a port called Trapani.
I don't know of this port in Greece, but those people looked pretty sure I would meet my family there. They kept saying "Familia".

I am looking forward to seeing them again.

I am also heading southeast so it can't be a bad thing.
I've just gotta be nearing home anytime soon.

Finally found my way home (arrived yesterday, Sunday, at 16:00).

Damage:
Bike - Broken chain-guard.
Body - Bad-ish case of what looks to be Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (no kidding!) + Wide grin severely plastered to my face.

The last sectors (in green)...

Write-up + pictures to follow.
