Not to sure if this may be something to look at, i have these just waiting to put them on as i'm too busy with everything else i'm doing but hey have a look and who knows. The quality of the product they produce is pretty high. http://www.choppershox.com/

OR, just give Bella Corse a call. He released a kit to install a sprung seat earlier this summer. It wasn't cheap. What ever floats your boat, er butt, but I don't get shocks and a sprung seat.... Swing arms are for sissies - Ride rigid! <g>

You ever seen those smaller mountain bikes that have 1 mono shock in the center of the frame?....I swear those can be used instead of some "high quality" shocks that cost alot of money. I cant find a good pic, but i always see these smaller kids bikes that have tiny shocks just like those.

No point. I like the way a spring seat looks, kinda like cutting off the rear fender, no function just looks.

My setup. i cut 2 pieces of angle the same size and drilled a hole in both sides. i attached one side to the top shock mount and put a bolt and a nut to receive the spring of the seat (a modified bung). Then I bent a peice of 5/16 round bar at a 90 deg angle the same width as the studs above the shock towers, threaded the end of the round bar and tacked a washer where I wanted the spring to stop on the round bar. I'll see if I can find some pics.
