I've repacked mine twice now. When the sound starts getting too harsh, for my ears. Take the pipes off the bike, remove thr two screws for the hanger, remove the one screw from the end that holds the baffle, and remove. Last time I had to push the baffle out by using a large socket (1.25") and tapped it.

The packing I used came from a local shop, used for dirt bikes $13. Wrapped around baffle and tapped with glass packing tape.

Sound is now softer to mky ears now.
