Triumph dealers seem to be few and far between, not to mention what things cost there. So here is a little help for those who are not rich. When oil changing time comes around try an auto parts store. I found a oil filter at Napa for $4.00 made to fit BA and SP. Oh and oil, try a Mobil oil depot, if they dont have it in stock they can and will get it. Besides a sixty mile ride one way to the dealership this saved me some good money, that I put into my tank and took a nice long ride in the country.

I always get my oil and filter at NAPA. I use the Wix or Napa Gold and Amsoil 20-50 Motorcycle oil, both available at Napa here. They can also get me any of the filters listed in the Tech Vault if I want to wait a day or 2.

+1 ... Love those Purolator filters. The Mobil JASO oil is also available at some Walmarts and most independent bike dealers and accessories suppliers at good prices.

Yep.
I've bought oil (Mobil-1 4T 10W40), filters, plugs, and a battery at Auto Zone.
They use Parts Unlimited as a supplier, so all the bike parts can be ordered, Chains, Tires, etc. for no shipping charge.
