Its officail I no longer own the only Triumph America In
East Hampton Ct. Met a guy today on a red and black 07.

He spotted me turning into the bank. And followed me in.
Talked for a few minutes. I dont think hes a memeber here
and I forgot to mention the site. I'm sure I'll be running into him again.
Looks like I'm gonna have to keep the bike a little cleaner now.
No more twice a year wash weather she needs it or not.

I pulled up next to a brand new Bonneville T 100 today. We pulled over and jawed for few mins. He was an older guy like me and had many dirt bikes over the years but had not ridden for a few years and finally bought his first new bike. His was totally stock and I could hardly hear the pipes. Exhaust blued to he** and never heard of AI. I turned him on to this site, FastEddy and the tech files.
He put me to shame as he has over 2K miles on his in two weeks. The day he picked up his Triumph he got laid off. It didn't seem to bother him as he has more time for riding now.

07 Speedmstr, Long Tors, bags, sissy bar and rack, windshield, engine bars, 2 ww lights, 2 fast eddy stickers and a .45 ACP.

Chatted for a while until I had to go back to work(DOH!)He was another new rider,I gave him the site info, hopefully he checked it out.
I ran into a guy on a Bonnie on the 215 at 4am...There is more of us all the time.

I actually saw a black/red speedy and a black speedy ride through Mineola, TX last weekend. It's nice to see more Triumphs on the road, but I have to admit I kind like being a bit different....

Learning from my mistakes... again and again.

Yesterday an old friend of mine came over on his chopped Road King so we could take a ride, he hadn't seen my new TBA yet. We stopped for gas and an old-timer strolled over to admire and compliment my friend about his Harley...except it turned out he had come over to admire and compliment my Triumph. I enjoyed that gas stop a lot!

We went to San Fran a month ago ~~ I was pleasantly surprised by the number of Triumphs on the road. I saw a NICE T100 the other day ~~ twice. I saw it on the way to work in the morning and on the way home.

I have seen a number of Bonneville / T100's about and a couple of Sprints and Tigers but when I ride the America I am most usually the only one(so far).

Thom I might be wrong, I sometimes am.
