I had the most interesting thing happen to last night. I am in my office listening to "The Sweet" singing "Fox On The Run" on Youtube. Now it is 9:01 PM and my 18 year old sone comes up stairs and say's "Can you please turn that down? I am trying to sleep." Now never in my dreams did I ever expect my kids to become my Dad! I am supposed to be telling them to "Turn that crap down!" Not the other way around! So have I time warped or have I jsut refused to grow up??

Could have been a ****** sight worse had he caught you drinking, smoking or even fornicating you would have been grounded for life .......adults nowadays no self control no wonder thes country is in the state it is in ....and get a haircut....

ahhhh' Sweet, and the glamourous 70's. Much better that the cr@p they play on the radio nowadays.. Bet you never thought you would become your dad, my old man used to shout up stairs at me to turn music down, and also try and switch over when Top of The Pops was on, so nice to be getting old Ed.... Eh

Well, to be truthful it may have been Bar Room Blitz, I was listening to all of them. Seems they actually had words in the songs that I didn't recall being there when I was a kid!
But Ray, I didn't become my Dad, my Kids became my Dad!
Now to pain a better picture I was perusing all the 70's bands I could remember and that seems to be more a chore than anything...remembering that is!
One thing is for sure? I have aged a whole lot better than those fellows have!

Back when my sons were in thier early teens, I'd wake them up on Saterday mornings with Black Sabbath on volume 10. They could not wait to get out of the house and mow the lawn.
