I know there have been various posts on lightbars. I'm intereted in individuals posting any pics they may have of different model light bars mounted on the bikes. There are plenty of OEM pics so that one is not really required. Not really interested in the lights themselves as much as I am in the bar. Along with the pics, can you post the make of the lightbar and any difficulties/modifications for mounting.

The OEM light bar has the lights too far apart for my liking. There are a number of bars applicable to "Metric cruisers" that look good but not sure what mods would be required to mount on TA.

Thanks to all in advance.

Sandmans post shows the OEM and JC Whitney bar. Any one else have other options like the "Kuryakyn Constellation Driving Light Bar".

I'm planning a project now to add additional lights without using the factory bar. I think I can fit a pair of high/low 4" sealed beams side by side within the width of the forks, just below the headlamp. J&P sells 4" housings that should work for this, and I think a fairly simple aluminum bracket screwed to the bottom of the upper triple tree is all that's needed. Two projects are planned ahead of this one to prep the bike for winter riding, then I'm on to the lighting mods.

this is a light bar that I made, it is machined from a bar of aluminum. doubles as a wiring and cable retainer (gets rid of the bent wire things under the speedo) bolts up to the existing tapped holes in the upper triple clamp.

here is a shot of just the light bar

Here's the one I made out of flat steel to replace the triumph one (same lights).

There is at least one other like this, but it was machined out of aluminum and covers the bottom of the yoke better. It also is attached with the fork shroud bolts, not the lightbar bolts like mine.

That is a cool idea and a different approach.
Here is what I did with the OEM light bar on Wendys bike.

Sandman's is just right. I want one; the OEM Triumph unit spaces out the passing lamps unnecessarily wide, IMO.

I have this bar for the indicator light mount that could be used any sort of smaller light. mounts under the lower triple and the wires run thru it.

on the bike

I used the handlebar from a kids BMX bicycle. I used flexible stainless steel hoses (the same type used in plumbing to connect sinks, etc.)to run my wires through...Got great wiring info from Sandman's site.
I'll try posting some pics..I have to get a leather tool pouch to better conceal the wiring where it all intersects below the headlight...
