Hooters in North Little Rock will be holding the last Bike Night of the season this evening. I've not attended any of the Hooters Bike Nights, but if it's even close to the ones held at Quaker Steak and Lubes, then it oughta be a fun event. I have the Speedy shined up and my Triumph shirt all cleaned and ready. I can't let all the Harley folks fly their 'flags' without any competition, now can I?

I had some lunch at Our Place Bar and Grill on Stagecoach Rd last August of 07. Nice dive. Lot's of folks wearing carpet company shirts drinking beer and shooting pool and oh yeah eating lunch.

Hey! I got an idea here. Maybe if you folks living in those places where you can't ride all year long and have to "winterize" your motorcycles, well maybe you can delay this seasonal change and some of that nasty weather to follow by acting real modestly as much as you can for a while???!!! For you see....."Pride always comes before The Fall"!!!  (bada-CHING!!!) 
Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

One mans poison is another mans joy. Fall coming in the USA only means spring is coming to OZ. Almost time to get rid of the thermals and the quilted jacket. Still in the mid 30's(F) but warming up and the days are getting longer...

I am ready for stop light stops that do not bake the brain. Morning temps have been falling and morning rides have been getting better and better, but afternoons are still hateful.

Yup. The summer rain has stopped for a few days and the fall rains are starting. Then there will be some snow before the spring rain starts. But for the 70 MPH winds, NM would be a rain forest instead of a dessert.
