Thanks Dwight. I got the prototype done. Just gotta refine the peg extension. Next step is laser cutting. I'll post a pic when that's done.

- are you certain the right side bracket is a mirror of the left? Cos I'm finding the right side is hitting the sprocket cover. I think I'm gonna have to lengthen the horizontal to carry the peg further forward than the sprocket cover. Trouble is then it won't be in line with the left side. Unless the lower side of the sprocket cover on my '09 is different than yours?
When I installed Gurdy's brackets on my '05, the pegs (actually the extensions) were touching the heat shields on the pipes. When I got a new styled chrome sprocket cover, had to grind out a place on the bottom of it to clear the right peg. Fit fine with the old GF ribbed sprocket cover. The kit was probably mocked up on a pre '07 bike.

Aha! Thanks for the explanation Lonzo. Well I found the sweet spot - just enough room under the chrome sprocket cover (without grinding thankfully). The peg clears the heat shield on my Staintune pipes by about 1/4" - so it's all good.
