My brother Rob and I went for a ride tonight and we stopped at a Dunkin Donuts in Londonderry, NH for a cup of coffee. I hung my helmet upside down on my right grip like I normally do and I placed my perscription Panoptix' riding glasses inside my helmet. There were two teenage boys sitting inside and I had parked right near their car. We ordered our coffee and sat down. The boys left shortly after we sat down. Know one else was around but those punks. When we finished our coffee and went to leave "No F***** glasses anywhere to be found. Searched up and down the road. The manager knew the kids and he took my phone number. He's going to ask the kids if they have them. Fat chance they'll admit it but who knows. They're perscription and not worth anything to them. I shouldn't leave stuff like that on the bike. You just can't trust anybody to respect your stuff. Now I'm out a $300 pair of riding glasses. I'd like to throttle those 2 punks.

Always remember to be yourself. Unless you suck. Then pretend to be someone else.

Make them wear your glasses for a week.

I hope that one of them is man enough to say they "found" them in parking lot if the manager asks them about the glasses since now the punk who pocketed them knows that they won't work for him being prescription lenses and all. I know that's really wishful thinking but I can still dream of a world of personal responsibility can't I (although if they had that then they wouldn't have taken the glasses in the first place).

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

I can't understand why anyone would steal a helmet. It probably won't fit and who wants to wear something with someone else's sweat!
