Just in case anyone noticed (although I doubt it, I read more than I post) I have been absent for about a month during our move from OKC to San Antonio. Well it is all over and the feelings of withdrawl from not riding and being on the boards can finally go away. So now to the point, who are my new neighbors?!?!

I'm not a neighbor ~~ I live in Central California ~~ but I grew up in Texas and San Antonio is one of my favorite places on earth. I had a ancestor who lost his life at the battle of the Alamo ~~ San Antonio always has a special place in my heart. Try Rudy's BBQ ~~ I love it!

I know Ron Andersen["satxron" 'round here] is a neighbor o' yours now, Andrew.

Good guy, him. He attends the Southwest Triumph Fest in Prescott AZ every May.

(...though I'll bet he uses it as a tax write-off somehow)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Welcome Andrew! I am in Florida now for a bit doing insurance claims. We will go to bike night as soon as I return.

Bike night is great at Texas Pride BBQ on Thursday nights. Don't miss it. 100s of bikes, live bands, good food. 10 miles EB 1604 from IH 35.

See you when I get home.

Welcome to Texas! You've got several fellow Trumpet riders up here in the Austin area.

I'm just up the road a wee bit. Stop in for a cold homebrew.

I'll be in San Antonio November 14th through the 16th. My girlfriend and her family are running in the rock and roll marathon. I'm the only one going down and not running, so you can catch me in a local brewhaus cheering my support one chug at a time. Once time comes closer, give me a shout if you'd like to hook up. We can shoot the breeze about triumphs and what not. I'm pretty sure I'll be bored stiff or drunk loose depending on what time of the day you catch me.

What are some good things to do down there. River walk? I'm staying at the drury inn by the airport.

Aaron, if you get up with us, I have been known to have an extra bike or two laying around. We can take a ride to break up your boring time.

I will try Moe.
