sometimes the forums won't let me load the page. i will get this Quote:

the first part of that would make me think that user bonnieusa has gone into his firefox about:config and opened up a load of simultaneous connections (a tweak to 'speed up' the intertubes), but i may be wrong. all i know is that i get this error a couple times a day

I dont think it has anything to do with the (browser?), I have a mac and it does it with safari as well

Usually, clicking 'refresh' will fix it.

I have clicked refresh, closed firefox down and still get the same...
Needs sorting out, only got this problem when we went to the Linux server

Hey, don't blame Linux!!!  If the server admin wants to give me a shout, I can have a look at the MySQL my.cnf configuration file for them and see if I can see anything that needs tweaking. Ideally, MySQL should be configured based on the server usage, but that would require access to the server  ps. I am a professional UNIX systems administrator (in case you are wondering  ).

My SQL is a might rusty, but I believe this line
"more than 'max_user_connections' active"
may be part of the answer

There's no sense in rehashing this problem. We know about it but as of yet there's nothing we can do about it. The good news is that it never seems to last for more than a few minutes (at least for me - I've never seen it go 20 minutes).
