hey all, I'm planning on replacing my front turn signals with silver bullets and moving them to the forks (like the rivco kit), Kuryakyn has a mounting clamp for the forks clicky here and was wondering what is the correct size... 41 or 49mm for an '07 America?

I believe our tubes come out quite a bit larger (over the shrouds) than 41 MM, more like 55 mm RIVCO is currently the only one out that big except Memphis Shades as a clamp with a modified connection for turn signals, not as good as RIVCO though. I had looked into the Kuryakyn ones early on to carry and didn't because of the size difference.

I wanted to keep the shrouds... seems like the RIVCO is the only solution... Do you all think if I'll be able to attach silver bullets to those?

It would all depend on the size of the hollow bolt on the RIVCO......there is a hollow bolt that treads in to the housing of the silver bullet and threads in to the clamp. The wires run thru this bolt. The other thing looking at the RIVCO set up is the spacer, the small piece between the clamp and housing. On the silver bullet there is a recess cut into the housing. That spacer (RIVCO) may be bigger or smaller on the housing of the silver bullet

Ask Rivco or Brent at NewSpeedmaster what the thread size is on their clamps.
I know the silver bullets come in 2 sizes....3/8 and 5/16 threads. They may even have metric sizes now. Bought my silver bullets about 3 years ago.

Now that you say that I think that the wire needs to scape from behind the casing instead of the mounting bolt; the RIVCO clamps were made to work with the OEM lights and the wire on those scape from behind the casing.

The wire on the small silver bullets scape from behind the casing; the large silver bullets the wire escapes through the mounting bolt...

I actually wanted the Lazer bullet lights but man are they pricey.

Yep RIVCO works direct with the stock or one where the wires come out the light case. I just check a RIVCO Kit I have in stock and it is made for the light housing to bolt up to the mount and there is no way to run a wire through the clamp.

thanks for double checking Eddy, I might just get that kit regardless if I can install silver bullets on them or not.

You know, if I could install different lights than the ones that comes with brent's kit I would get it even if it was more expensive than the rivco brackets since I really don't want to attach anything to the shrouds. Those Kellermans look very sport bike to me and IMO they are too close to the headlight, will cagers in front really be able to tell what direction you intend to turn? specially at night?

Has anyone installed that kit?
