Ya know Deon, I think my Uncle Edwin had a '58 DeSoto in those very same colors, back in the day.

(or was that Aunt Gertrude's '57 Studebaker?)

OOH, Hot Pink with Lavender accents. I could go for that.

Hope it has leopard skin seat covers, and one of those pretty little fork top tool bags for my lipstick and eye liner.

Thanks guys, this is a somewhat serious question.
Looks like Triupmh is coming through in the clutch and helping me replace the troubled machine.
So.... I'm not too impressed with the 08 colors, I really liked the 07 all Mulberry, but was wondering what the new ones where.

A little bit of info here... but not enough to really answer your question.

It would appear that there's a lot of "guys" on this forum that know a lot about decorating and trendy colors.

Sorry Dill I was joking but didn't expect it to take off like a runaway freight train. Of course I should have known better with this crowd! I don't know the colors for 09 and didn't even know the the Mulberry wasn't available anymore. Too bad, I really liked that color.

Yep! I guess I also better apologize for my antics here, Dill. I guess I didn't realize you were asking this question in all earnestness.

Tell ya what though. If you can't find out what colors Triumph is offering up for their '09 lineup, then just go with the ol' Basic Black..........and pearls.

Was at the Triumph dealer today, he had a just arrived store copy of the sales book. The America comes in Black, a 2 tone blue and a 3rd two tone, black based scheme, if I recall correctly. The Speedmaster comes in Black and a Black/White scheme only. I'd like to get the Speedmaster, but would rather not have black, which only leaves the 2 tone Blue America. Bother!!

Wow, those are not exactly run out and buy colors. Where the green and gold, the Orange/white they put some awesome retina scorching tints on the tigers, why can't we get one?

The kidding is all good, I expect no less.

Just remembered, the 3rd scheme for the America is Black/Blue 2 tone. Black must be the color of choice this year!

Now wait a minute! None of those are real colors are they? Now lemme see, there's red, blue, orange, green, brown, black, white, and purple. That's it! All the rest is just shades and mixes like light red or greenish blue. One thing I haven't quite worked out yet, is the color some call gray light black or dark white?

I thought they were keeping the Black metalic, or is that they spilt some silver flake in the black to make it go further

GB, Your take on this whole color thing reminds me of this scene in the old Cary Grant/Myrna Loy comedy "Mr.Blandings Builds His Dream House".....
