I don't think that will fit the speedy it is to long especially where it covers the tank console to the back of the tank

i would advise against the bib as it scratches the tank when i bought the sportster it had a bib fitted and when i removed it the paint was like worn as if it had been sanded down so if you want a matt finished tank at least down the center of the tank put a bib on i will be painting the sporty in the winter coz of the damage caused by the bib keep riding bros

Thank guys, I think I am going with the one from JP.
Melvin, thanks for the warning, but I was going with a bib to cover up some scratches already. My tank is matt black already. I will probably have it painted this winter or next.

get your self a Tankslapper film to put on the tank before the bib, and you will have no scratches on the paint
'06 Speedmaster, Long TORS, rest is stock (for now)

Folks buy those Bras for their fancy sports cars thinking to save the paint from chips etc. Grit gets under the silly things and the item on top grinds it into the paint. You will not get any chips but you will lose the nice glossy paint job and if you leave it on long enough you will be able to see the primer and then the bare metal. The only thing that goes on my tank [image]http://s272.photobucket.com/albums/jj187/dancorrigan/?action=view¤t=IMG_0119.jpg[/image] is wax, water and soap and my map when I gets misdirected.
07 Speedmstr, Long Tors, bags, sissy bar and rack, windshield, engine bars, 2 ww lights, 2 fast eddy stickers and a .45 ACP.

Just installed this custom Tank Bib on my '07 Speedmaster. Visually, it gives the tank more bulk. Used protective film underneath. Made by Talisman Leather here in London, Ont. www.saddlebagsbytalisman.com

I've been running the triumph bib for about 3 years now, not a scratch. I think the trick is to make sure it's tied on securely enough that it can't move about in the wind.

Great looking Bib, the braided edge really sets it off. I just bought a bib from U.S. Saddlebags or I would have to order one like yours. May have to anyway.

Is that a "one off" or will they make more to order? Much better looking than the Triumph one. I am often in the London area for work and would definately like to pick one of those up.

Hi Andy.....There's a tank bib for the TBA hanging on the wall at Inglis Cycle here in London. Mine is customized slightly as I wanted a pouch slightly less deep/high than the standard offering. That caused a long delay in getting my bib, as Scott wasn't too keen on altering his design. There's nothing wrong with the looks of the other bib, just a slightly deeper pouch that would actually hold a bit more. Scott has moved his workshop/showroom to a location near the airport, just south of Dundas St., on Crumlin Rd. If you want directions, PM me. I doubt you'd find a bib at his showroom right now, as we know, there's not much demand for Triumph goodies. Don
