Has anyone who has one of these installed noticed any difference in terms of handling or...well...anything?

discouting the cosmetic appeal i was wondering if it had any actual functional benefit?

Thanks for your time,

Anthony

What you are really asking is, are they worth £150.00? I have never noticed any difference with mine, it does stop a bit of crud hitting the front of the engine though and look quite fancy

Yeah, thats what i'm asking

along with "will it make my bike stick like glue to the tarmac, make me corner like it was on rails and make the bike go faster than a speeding bullet."

though from what you've said i'm guessing thats a "no"

that one can go on the "nice to have" pile then.

cheers mate,

Anthony

They have cosmetic appeal? I have difficulty understanding why anyone would mount these on anything other than a long, raked-out chopper. On a street bike, they're in the same category as Yugo spoilers.

I have seen a couple that were done in chrome (Hi, my name is Darren and I am a chromeaholic) that looked nice. mmmm, chrome, glorious chrome.

Maybe on your bike. On mine the new style spoiler looks great

does anybody know if they help cool the engine at all??? i have wondered that for awhile, it seems like it would scoop a little more air to the engine so it makes sense that it would help cool, but maybe not????

Dude , that Trabant looks hot with that rear deck spoiler. Much better than a Yugo.

They have 1 serious purpose.
It reduces the amount of dirt that falls into the cavity on the front of the motor.
OH and I think it looks wicked cool on my bike.

The air dam was on my Speedmaster when I bought it along with a fly screen. As near as I can tell they have absolutly no effect until you reach 160 or 165 mph.
