Does anyone know of one they can recommend? I guess you spray it and rain drops just roll off instead of sticking to windshield.

I'm a huge fan of Rain-X on my car windshields and use it religously. However, I believe it may eventually fog plastic screens, might want to check their website. I use Novus plastic cleaner/polish products on my screen but I don't think it has any specific rain repellency.

Found this reference on the TriumphRat.net forums:

Was just talking to an aircraft windshield manufacturer and talked about RainX. DO NOT USE on plastics!!! It contains a strong concentration of ammonia. This WILL cause crazing and can't be polished out. Even the RainX tech folks tell you NOT to use their product on ANY plastics.

I haven't heard anything for windshields for water but I use something for fog.
