hello,
i removed the rear footpeg holders and airbox cover and want to remove the little brace that held them. any tips on the best way to do this? will the whole thing come off all the way around or will only the tabs come off? thank you.

nice bike but it doesn't really help with my question. did you just hack off the top tab? i'd like to remove the whole thing all the way around. i have my rear foot peg directly on the bottom thread by passing the foot peg "hanger" (i think it's called). any help? thank you very much.

sawzall cut my tabs off, as well as my airbox.
Just hacked them off and took them the rest of the way down with a grinder.
