I am just asking about my extended warranty I have on my sickle. It is OK apparently to do a pipe change after buying a new bike but what if one was to remove the AI. I don't want to have to put it back on every service just so I know I'm covered. Thanx

My dealer told me to remove it. I would assume it won't void the warranty.

I got my dealer to remove it for me, perhaps that may be a solution for you.

That's strictly a dealer call. If yours says void, drop them like a hot rock and find a better one.

I was told it has no affect on the warranty.

Here in America, I believe it is technically against the law to remove it. There was a post about a Kalifornia dealer being fined for doing so. So if your dealer won't do it, do it yourself. Most good dealers know it's crap anyway and it shouldn't affect your warranty taking it off.

got to be careful even with the dealwers advice

I was told after the dealer had fitted my scott oiler to the sprint that triumph would take a dim view of any claims that my arise to the engine/injection system.

his face was a picture when I told him about the sale of goods act we have here though

hmmm funny line to follow
