I was watching a video in Brit Iron Rebels and they refercenced removing a restrictor plate in the airbox. Anybody done this and have photos? I just rejetted and drilled my airbox and was wondering what the scoop is on the the restrictor plate removal options?

Thanks.

The Bonneville has a different kind of airbox than we.

Good. I thought I had missed something and was worried about it.

Thanks.

Our boxes do have a plate. You have to remove and disassemble the box to cut the plate out. Not a quick job. I did mine when I had the bike apart for my big bore install. Plenty of time for it then! Can't really say whether it's a worthwhile mod. I did so many mods at that time that I have no way to make a comparison.
