I thought i should give them some backpressure so i inserted a 1 3/4" to 1 1/2" reducing adpters inside the 1 7/8" turn downs/dumps.

I got the shocks as well as the air filters from mikesxs.com . It is a site for yamahas,(of which i have had 3)i think they were about 70 or 80 bucks.i replaced my k&n pods with these after i lost one of the k&n's and could not get back to pick it up before it was flattened. these pods were less than 1/2 the price and seem to be as well made if not better. Custom on a budget......

You mention that the shocks from MikesXS are -2"...I am curious what is the eye to eye measurement? I thought our stockers were 12.5" so I e-mailed him regarding 10.5" and he said he's not carried them??
the dumps are awesome!

I think they may be 11.5", and i will double check but i think when the stock shocks are off the bike and under no load the may be 13.5"

Cool, thanks. Did the shocks come with the correct bushings also or did you reuse the stock ones? Mine are toast.

I think I reused the stock ones but they came with a variety of bushings so you should be ok in that reguard.

Broke out the tape measure and the stock shocks are 12.5 off the bike, and the MikesXS shocks are 11 on the bike. So i may have rounded up a bit. Oh well. I love them....

Pepboys, They are 1 7/8" ID tailpipes. I installed them with 1 3/4" to 1 1/2" reducers inside for a little backpressure. I need to take it to the dyno again cause she really is takin a$$ and kickin names now! Beware of the earsplitting sound! I guess I am dumb enough to like that noise I guess. As I have said before screw the neighbors, they won't teach there kids to get out of the street when cars come by.....
